Aftercare

There is very little to be done following rhinoplasty apart from protecting the splint and nose from minor injury. If there is any oozing from your nose this should be collected in a tissue and you should avoid vigorous side to side movement of the nose. If you do need to blow your nose blow into a tissue held close to the nose and not gripping it.

It is wise to sleep propped up at approximately 45 degrees until the nasal splint has been removed to reduce swelling.
