Aftercare

Following eyelid and facial surgery you will need to sleep in a semi-reclined position to reduce swelling. Cold packs will also be used on your eyes to minimise swelling. Elevation is important for two to three days following surgery with normal sleep position being resumed when sutures have been removed. You can also resume normal skin care including the use of make up the day after suture removal.
